Synthesia has expanded its product range of absorbable haemostats based on oxidized cellulose with an innovative non-woven form with reduced weight and increased strength.

This product is offered under the name OKCEL® S (S as strengthened) and it´s intended for the control of capillary, venous and small arterial diffuse bleeding in a wide range of surgical procedures. Thanks to its compactness, absorbency and easy handling, it will find application in open surgeries, while higher strength will also predetermine it for application with a laparoscopic trocar.
