Synthesia, a.s. is divided into four SBUs (Strategic Business Units) – SBU Pigments and Dyes, SBU Organic Chemistry (Organics), SBU Nitrocellulose and SBU Power Engineering. Each SBU operates a part of Synthesia’s product portfolio.

SBU Pigments and Dyes

• Pigments – We supply pigments for dyeing plastic and fibres, production of coating composition and printing ink.
• Dyes – Our dyes are applied to dye and print natural and synthetic textile material. We also offer quality dyes for dyeing leather, fur, paper, wood and other material.

SBU Nitrocellulose

• Industrial nitrocellulose – Derivates of natural nitrocellulose are employed in many fields.
• Energetic nitrocellulose – Our military and dynamite nitrocellulose is used in arms industry.
• Inorganic acids and salts – A wide range of inorganic acids and salts is produced in order to make use of it in further Synthesia’s own operation and also for outside customers.
• Oxycellulosis – We are one of the leading producers of cellulose oxygenation for biomedicine and technical applications.

SBU Organic Chemistry

• Pharmacy – Today we offer four leading products the quality of which is guaranteed not only by years of tradition but also by certification.
• Pesticides – We offer solving problem agents to eliminate unwanted weedy vegetation. Our pesticides are produced from our own well-developed effective substances.
• Customer synthesis – We offer individual tailored solutions to customer’s needs.
• Intermediates – The most extensive company’s production based on modern technologies.

SBU Power Engineering

• Power engineering – produces and distributes energy in form of hot vapour and heat for all production divisions and business premises.
